bwone.com twitter.com Here we take a deeper look into the hardware of the Logitech Revue. Does it stack up against the Sony Internet TV? Check inside to find out The Logitech revue takes a different approach from the Sony Internet TV Player in terms of hardware. Logitech went for a much lighter and smaller device probably due to the face it doesn't include any internal drives like the Blu-Ray drive in the Sony Internet TV Player. Even though its nice and light it doesn't feel cheap as it feels just a solid and well built like most Logitech products. There is nothing in the front of the device but on the back you have a connect button to link it to other Logitech device that can interact with it and also the keyboard. You have HDMI in, IR Blaster port, two USB ports, Ethernet port, HDMI out, digital optical port and power port to plug in. It comes with one HDMI cable, IR Blaster, power adapter and probably the most interesting is the keyboard. The keyboard is much larger than the handheld Sony but is very thin and light with nice keys that are separated well and raised at a good distance for typing. The top right has a large optical track pad which gives a lot of space to move the on screen mouse which will be interesting in use. Below is your directional pad with your standard play, pause, fast forward, rewind and record buttons and your standard back, menu, PIP and home buttons. Good hardware coming from Logitech here but we will see soon how well the software works with it.
